Accommodation

Mkelekele Beach House has four generously sized bedrooms, each facing the ocean and with ensuite bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms contain generously sized twin beds and spacious bathrooms with showers, whilst the fourth has a super-king bed and a bathtub as well as shower. All the beds have large mosquito nets and electric fans, although there is usually a lovely sea-breeze that comes in through the windows.

The house is very spacious and has several areas for relaxing, including a wonderful upstairs balcony made of richly coloured Sandarusi wood, where guests can enjoy the heavenly view out over the Indian Ocean. Often, the endangered colobus monkey can be spotted in the treetops as well as a huge variety of birdlife. There is another seating area further inside with comfy cushions, where you can enjoy some of the books and board games.

Downstairs consists of an open plan dining area and veranda with gorgeous views of a magnificent old baobab tree in the garden. There is a large, fully equipped kitchen.

The house is surrounded by indigenous trees and is extremely private. The beach is only a two minute stroll away down a sandy palm-lined path and there is an outdoor shower under the baobab tree in the garden.

Mkelekele Beach House comes with a personal chef and housekeeper, designed to make your stay as relaxing as possible. The staff are happy to shop for you if required and fresh, local seafood can be delivered to your door daily.
